A long-lasting pheromone lure developed to attract rhinoceros beetles (Oryctes rhinoceros) into a properly set-up trap, supporting plantation monitoring and mass-trapping programmes.
Steady release for approximately 12 weeks
BM Kabuto uses coated-membrane technology to provide a constant release of pheromone. Its tubular shape is designed to improve lure coverage and duration, while individual vacuum packaging helps protect product quality before use.
Important: BM Kabuto is an attractant lure. It should be used with a suitable physical trap as part of an integrated rhinoceros beetle management programme.
Recommended trap set-up
- Set up a suitable rhinoceros beetle trap.
- Place the BM Kabuto lure on the zinc plates.
- Hang the trap on a pole at approximately 2 metres above ground.
- Install approximately 1 trap for every 2 hectares.
- Replace the BM Kabuto lure every 12 weeks.
Actual field requirements may vary with pest pressure, plantation layout and the wider pest-management programme.

Sales pack: 10 lures per pack. Each lure is individually vacuum packed and should remain sealed until installation.
